John D. Galluzzo

Circuit Court Judge John D. Galluzzo is a Seminole County judge for the 18th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was appointed by then-Governor Jeb Bush on August 10, 2006. He took office on Oct. 3 and replaced retired Seminole County Judge Gene Stephenson. In 2008, Judge Galluzzo was re-elected to a term that ends on January 5, 2015. He handled juvenile cases in the past and currently handles Seminole County felony cases. Judge Galluzzo received his undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida in 1979 and his J.D. degree from the Nova Southeastern University Law Center in 1982. Judge Galluzzo is a former Assistant State Attorney in Seminole County. He then worked as a private practice criminal defense attorney until he was appointed to the Circuit Court in 2006.
