Mr. Owens’ practice focuses on advising companies, investors and entrepreneurs on forming and operating businesses, buying and selling companies, raising capital through private and public offerings, and complying with the requirements of federal securities laws. He provides day-to-day client support and coordination of governance issues, transactional needs and specialty counsel.

Mr. Owens regularly represents private and public companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions, issuing securities, compliance with corporate and securities laws and corporate governance practices, debt financing, and the negotiation and documentation of a wide variety of corporate and commercial transactions.

Mr. Owens has experience in transactions involving companies and individuals in many industries, including telecommunications, e-business, technology, financial services, medical technology, health care, manufacturing, retail, media, sports and entertainment.
