John Falvey, a partner in Goodwin Procter's Securities Litigation & White Collar Defense Group, focuses on governmental and internal investigations, white collar criminal defense and complex civil litigation. Mr. Falvey's practice includes representing companies, boards of directors and their committees, and individuals in connection with state and federal investigations, both criminal and civil, in matters involving securities, Federal Corrupt Practices Act, healthcare fraud and public corruption. His civil practice includes a variety of other complex business litigation matters, including civil fraud actions and extensive representation of a major financial institution in litigation arising from the sale of mortgage backed securities.

A former Assistant U.S. Attorney, Mr. Falvey received a Director's Award in 2000 from the U.S. Department of Justice for his work as lead prosecutor in the Centennial Technologies, Inc. securities fraud case.
