John Sykes practices in the firm’s Tax Group where he represents major companies, financial institutions and underwriters, advising on the tax aspects of various types of transactions including cross-border offerings of debt and equity securities, country debt restructurings, asset-backed securities, fund offerings, leasing transactions, project finance and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Sykes joined the firm in 1986 and became a partner in 1996.
