John R. Gibson

John R. Gibson practices in the area of intellectual property litigation, with an emphasis on patents, trade secrets and unfair competition, and general commercial litigation. Mr. Gibson has represented leading high-technology clients in a diverse range of patent litigation matters involving nearly all aspects of telecommunications, including cases involving wireless LAN systems, cellular telephony, VoIP telephony, webmail, cable and set-top boxes, and wireless chipsets, among others. Mr. Gibson has also represented various clients in a diverse range of commercial litigation matters, including cases involving allegations of fraud, breach of contract, and breach of the implied duty of good faith and fair dealing.

Before entering private practice, Mr. Gibson served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Leonie M. Brinkema of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia (Alexandria Division).
