John R. Myers,
a partner in the Sacramento office, is a member of the firm's nationally acclaimed Public Finance Department. He is the lead partner for the firm's national health care finance practice, having focused in this area for more than 30 years. Mr. Myers also has experience with virtually every type of public finance technique utilized by local governments, and has significant current practices in the areas of public power and revenue bonds.
Mr. Myers's health care finance practice includes serving as bond counsel, underwriters' counsel or issuer's counsel for more than 300 health care issues totaling over US$30 billion since 1998. These financings include work with many of the largest and most respected health care systems in the country, including Ascension Health, Catholic Health Initiatives, Catholic Healthcare West, Kaiser Permanente, SSM Health Care and Sutter Health, among others.
