Jonathan D. Brightbill

is a litigation and intellectual property partner focusing on false advertising, patent, trademark, trade secret, antitrust, and unfair competition, including extensive class action defense. He is also an experienced complex commercial litigator who handles bankruptcy, contract, fraudulent conveyance, securities, administrative, and environmental matters. Jonathan has served as trial counsel in significant cases that have received both national and international attention, including coverage in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and the Associated Press. Jonathan is skilled at cost-effectively managing complex multiparty litigation matters and discovery, and has served on the American Bar Association's E-Discovery Working Group for Bankruptcy Practice. Jonathan is a repeat lecturer for the District of Columbia Bar Association, and a member of the ABA Electronic Discovery (ESI) Bankruptcy Working Group.
