Jonathan L. Gold

Jonathan brings to Michael Best more than 20 years of experience in creditors’ rights and complex financial restructuring matters, as well as in state court and bankruptcy litigation matters.

His practice includes serving as counsel to, among other clients, official creditors’ committees, financial institutions, equipment lenders, and purchasers of bankruptcy estate assets. He regularly represents clients in litigation matters including preference and fraudulent transfer litigation, disputes concerning executory contracts and unexpired leases, and other litigation arising from, or related to, the Bankruptcy Code, as well as state court collection matters.

Prior to joining Michael Best, Jonathan was a partner in the Virginia office of a national law firm, where he focused on complex Chapter 11 matters, commercial litigation, and creditors’ rights issues.
