Jonathan P. Baumstark is of counsel in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, and a member of Gibson Dunn's Real Estate Practice Group.

Mr. Baumstark advises foreign and domestic clients in connection with a broad spectrum of real estate matters, including acquisition and disposition of real property interests (both equity and debt); origination of complex single asset and portfolio mortgage and mezzanine financings; property development; leasing; sophisticated partnerships and joint ventures; workouts and bankruptcies; and various project finance, M&A and secured high yield projects.

Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Mr. Baumstark was an associate in the New York office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.

Mr. Baumstark earned his Juris Doctor in 2001 from the University of Pennsylvania, where he served on the Journal of Labor and Employment Law. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Fairfield University in 1997.

Mr. Baumstark is admitted to practice in New York.
