Jonathan Tannen

practices with the firm’s Appellate group.

He joined GT in 2012 after serving as a Staff Attorney to Justice Peggy A. Quince of the Florida Supreme Court, following his graduation from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2009.

While at Virginia Law, Jonathan served as Articles Editor of The Journal of Law and Politics and was the recipient of the Bracewell & Giuliani Oral Advocacy Award. Jonathan was also a Semifinalist in the William Minor Lile Moot Court Competition, in which he received the Paul Hastings Best Oralist Award.

Jonathan served as a Foreign Law Clerk to Justice Asher D. Grunis of the Supreme Court of Israel in Jerusalem during the summer of 2007, and as a Legal Intern at the Criminal Division of the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. during the summer of 2008. He received his B.A., summa cum laude, from Florida State University in 2006.
