Jonetta Brooks is a partner in Holland & Knight's Dallas office and a member of the firm's Real Estate Practice. Ms. Brooks counsels special servicers, pension fund advisors, real estate investment trusts and corporate and other institutional property owners, together with receivers, bankruptcy trustees, developers and small business owners, in all aspects of real estate transactions, including without limitation loan modifications, asset management matters, property acquisition and disposition, foreclosure and leasing.

Ms. Brooks focuses much of her practice on leasing and asset management matters, and has more than 25 years of experience representing a diverse mix of national and regional landlords and tenants in leases and other real property matters across the country in shopping centers, malls, office and industrial buildings and build-to-suit properties.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Brooks was a partner in the Dallas office of a prominent global law firm. Ms. Brooks also served as regional counsel for a real estate investment trust where she was responsible for leasing functions and other ownership matters related to a large portfolio of office properties, and worked in-house for a pension fund advisor handling property acquisition matters.
