Jordan Rossen joined Ropes & Gray in 2008 as an associate in the litigation and corporate departments, focusing on intellectual property. Prior to joining the firm, Jordan worked for ExxonMobil in a variety of engineering, business, and legal capacities, including in Chemicals and Upstream Research. Jordan advises clients in patent, copyright, and trade secret matters. His background is in chemical engineering, but he represents a wide range of clients in various technology fields, including chemicals and material science, energy and geosciences, insurance, banking, vehicle telematics, computer software, and plastics. In addition to litigating in a variety of federal courts, Jordan also has extensive experience representing clients in post-grant proceedings in front of the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, preparing patent reexaminations and review petitions, and drafting and analyzing intellectual property consulting agreements.
