Joseph Daniels represents startup to mature public companies, private equity and venture capital funds, and investment banks in a wide range of corporate, finance, M&A and securities law matters. He has advised company management and top investment banks in raising over $4 billion in IPOs and follow-on offerings of equity and debt, including many foreign companies in their U.S. public offerings. He has represented private companies, venture capital firms and strategic investors in over $1 billion of venture and strategic financings, and has helped companies and private equity firms handle over $5 billion of merger, acquisition, and disposition transactions. He also regularly advises companies obtaining secured lines of credit, equipment financing, and other loans. Mr. Daniels serves as outside general counsel for numerous public and private companies, assisting them with their day-to-day business transactions and other legal matters. He focuses on representing clients involved in high-growth sectors, and has experience with a broad range of industries, including adtech, biotech, cleantech, consumer, digital media, ecommerce, energy, IoT, fintech / financial services, life sciences, mobile, music, semiconductor, software, UAVs and telecommunications.

In addition, Mr. Daniels frequently speaks at and helps organize events addressing a wide range of topics critical for fast growth companies, including with the Association of Fintech Professionals, Edtech Connect, Enterprise Connect, Entrepreneur’s Roundtable, Fintech Connect, Harvard Business School Alumni Angels, Health 2.0 and TiE Angels. He also teaches classes at various accelerators and incubators throughout the country.
