Joseph J. Bellew, a member in the Wilmington office, joined the firm in July 1990. He practices in the Commercial Litigation Department.

Joseph has represented various medical professionals (physicians, physician assistants, nurses and nursing assistants), nursing homes, visiting nursing associations, home health care workers and diagnostic centers in all types of professional negligence claims. In addition, he is familiar with and has litigated the validity and coverage issues involved in the legislative and statutory provisions applicable to medical negligence claims, coverage and priority of claims.

Joseph earned a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, from Mount St. Mary’s College in 1984 and a law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 1987.
