Joseph Porter, Jr. is a partner in the firm’s Corporate Services and Financial and Real Estate Services practice groups. With more than 30 years of experience, he provides counsel to a variety of corporations on transactional matters including mergers and acquisitions, equity offerings, financing arrangements and strategic planning. Joseph’s practice focuses on financial institutions and the special regulatory issues involved in the operation of state and federal banks, and savings and loan associations.

Joseph provides assistance to clients with acquisitions and divestitures, corporate restructurings, regulatory compliance issues, introduction of new product lines, and expansion into other geographic areas through branching and acquisition.
