Josh Sternoff is a Corporate partner in the Private Investment Funds practice group of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s New York office. His practice includes representation of private fund sponsors and investors in all aspects of the structuring, documentation, offering, negotiation and operation of private investment funds, including real estate and private equity funds.

He also represents institutional fund sponsors in connection with mergers and acquisitions involving private funds and fund management teams and other corporate transactions in the investment management industry, as well as newly formed fund sponsors in connection with all elements of the establishment of their investment funds platform.

Mr. Sternoff also has expertise in Title I of ERISA, representing employers, investment managers, and other fiduciaries in and out of the litigation context in connection with matters relating to the investment of pension fund assets, including the fiduciary responsibility requirements and prohibited transaction restrictions of ERISA, as well as the provision of investment advice and education services to 401(k) plan participants ESOP and other employer stock investment issues.
