Joshua S. Roseman

Josh Roseman represents companies, directors, and officers in significant government and internal investigations and complex shareholder litigation. He also counsels companies and audit committees on the design, implementation, and effectiveness of compliance programs.

Josh has conducted internal investigations for organizations on a range of issues, including suspected violations of anti-corruption laws, accounting fraud, and conflicts of interest. He recently lead fraud investigations in Mexico and Argentina and is currently part of a team conducting a significant FCPA investigation spanning four countries.

In addition to counseling companies and boards on compliance programs, Josh also advises companies on anti-corruption due diligence in M&A transactions. From 2009-2012 Josh represented an FCPA compliance monitor appointed under a deferred prosecution agreement where he annually assessed anti-corruption related compliance and accounting controls.

Josh is a securities litigator and trial lawyer. He has represented clients in some of the country’s largest shareholder class actions and derivative cases. He was part of a trial team that won a jury verdict that the The National Law Journal recognized as a “Top 10 defense verdict” of the year. Josh served for a period as an Assistant District Attorney in Dallas County where he tried over 20 cases to jury verdict.

Josh is an associate member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and a member of the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics. Texas Monthly magazine has named Josh a Super Lawyer Rising Star seven times. Josh serves on the board of the Dallas chapter of JDRF.
