Julia Frost Davies

Julia Frost-Davies, a partner in Bingham’s Financial Restructuring Group, focuses her practice on the representation of creditors in complex Chapter 11 cases across the country. A seasoned commercial litigator, she is experienced in commercial and bankruptcy litigation and appeals, and she regularly represents investors and lenders throughout the capital structure on all aspects of restructuring and related litigation, including DIP financing, distressed M&A transactions, claim and plan negotiation and litigation, and out of court work-outs.

Julia frequently leads trial practice workshops for the American Bankruptcy Institute and is the co-author of Debtor in Possession Financing Orders: Line by Line (Aspatore Books). In addition, she serves as treasurer and a director of the Honorable Tina Brozman Foundation and is a member of Bingham’s Diversity Executive Committee. Julia is past chair of the board of trustees of the Women’s Bar Foundation, and she has served on the board of editors for the Boston Bar Journal. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and her J.D., summa cum laude, from New England Law Boston. Julia currently serves as lead outside counsel for New England Law Boston — the first woman to hold this position.
