With 12 years of experience handling complex insurance coverage disputes, Julie Van Wert is uniquely adept at bringing complicated and bitterly contested matters to resolution. Operating at various times as coverage counsel, monitoring counsel or litigation counsel, Julie’s insurance coverage practice encompasses the representation of insurers in intricate and complicated coverage disputes and involves employment practices liability, professional liability, directors’ and officers’ liability, technology and media liability, and commercial general liability matters.

Julie devoted the first seven years of her practice to public interest, primarily in the area of children’s rights and advocacy for the homeless. She is dedicated to Wilson Elser’s successful Pro Bono Program.
