Julie M. Baker

Julie Baker focuses her practice on representing employers in a wide variety of labor and employment matters. She has experience in wage and hour disputes arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act and various state laws, in disputes arising under the Family Medical Leave Act, and in discrimination suits arising from Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act. She has worked on both single plaintiff cases and class actions.

Julie also has an active pro bono practice, focused on assisting children with special education needs receive the appropriate educational services. Before attending law school, she taught public school in south Texas as a Teach For America corps member.
