Katharine "Kate" Coffey assists clients with commercial and multi-family development and redevelopment, including land use and zoning, rezoning, the New Jersey Highlands, affordable housing, redevelopment law and financial incentives, real estate transactions, liquor license transfers, and related litigation.

Kate works with developers from the inception of their project, beginning with negotiation and drafting of purchase agreements and leases, and sees a project through its approvals and entitlements from local planning and zoning boards and state agencies. She also has significant experience in state and local incentive programs, including Grow NJ tax credits and Economic Redevelopment and Growth grants administered by the NJEDA, long term and short term tax exemptions, redevelopment area bonding and environmental opportunity zone tax exemptions.

Kate also focuses on condominium sponsorship and conversion and serves as outside general counsel to commercial and residential condominium associations.
