Kefei Li

KEFEI LI is a partner in the firm’s New York office and a member of the Corporate Finance group. Mr. Li’s practice focuses on capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters. He has advised a large number of issuers and underwriters in their international securities offerings. In particular, Mr. Li has substantial experience of presenting China-based companies in connection with their initial public offerings at the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (SEHK) and the U.S. stock markets.

Mr. Li has advised various international corporations on their mergers and acquisitions transactions, as well as strategic alliances. In addition, he is also experienced in private equity and venture capital matters.

Prior to joining Sidley, Mr. Li was a partner and the chief representative of the Beijing office of another leading U.S. law firm.

Mr. Li is a native Mandarin speaker and is fluent in English.
