Kevin Gray’s practice includes representing lenders and borrowers in financial transactions, owners, developers and landlords in real estate transactions, and creditors, distressed borrowers, committees and other stakeholders in bankruptcy, litigation and workout proceedings.

Kevin represents banks and financial institutions in complex lending transactions, including commercial real estate, asset- based lending, lending transactions with government contractors, letters of credit and legal opinions. He has documented and closed numerous construction and development loans, revolving lines of credit and other lending transactions secured by specialty collateral.

Kevin’s real estate practice extends to all aspects of acquisition, development and disposition. He has advised owners and developers in matters involving hospitality, retail, office, healthcare and industrial properties. In addition, Kevin has represented both landlords and tenants in leasing transactions.

Kevin also counsels clients in every aspect of the Chapter 11 process, as well as represents lenders, borrowers, trustees, committees, receivers and other interest-holders in federal and state litigation arising from bankruptcy, workout, distress and financing matters. With Huntsville’s dense concentration of government agencies, defense contractors and service providers, Kevin is knowledgeable of and experienced in the unique issues presented by bankruptcy and distress matters related to the industry.
