Mary Goodrich Nix is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Dallas office and a member of the firm's Labor, Employment and Benefits Group. Ms. Nix works closely with clients to handle complex commercial, employment and franchise litigation matters. She has extensive courtroom experience and has litigated and arbitrated numerous cases throughout Texas and in other parts of the country.

Ms. Nix is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She provides clients proactive and practical recommendations to avoid litigation with their employees. She represents leading hotel, food service, real estate and hospitality franchise companies in litigation and arbitration matters.

In addition, Ms. Nix has experience counseling clients on compliance with franchise registration, disclosure regulations and negotiating complex franchise transactions. She is often called on to manage nationwide litigation teams and local counsel to assist clients with ensuring a consistent approach to litigating disputes with franchisees, including franchise termination and de-identification litigation. She often counsels franchise clients nationwide on joint employer and vicarious liability matters.
