Nicholas V. Martini

With more than a decade of experience as outside counsel, in-house counsel, and a judicial clerk, Nick Martini provides a well-rounded understanding of the needs of high-stakes patent litigation clients. Whether it is meeting with technical employees, crafting and arguing persuasive arguments, mediating disputes, or developing strategy, Nick brings a perspective that helps guide his clients through difficult situations.

Before joining Haynes and Boone, Nick served as Litigation Counsel at Adobe Systems Inc., where he managed a wide variety of disputes, with particular emphasis on patent litigations. While at Adobe, he developed approaches to effectively respond to the claims of non-practicing entities while controlling the costs of those disputes.

Before joining Adobe, Nick practiced as a patent litigator at major international law firms, working in wide range of electrical, mechanical and computer-related technologies, including compression, software, medical devices, and sports equipment. His practice at Haynes and Boone focuses on district court patent litigation matters throughout the country.
