Regina Vogel Culbert

Gina Culbert has more than 25 years of experience as a trusted advisor, leading clients through disputes involving unfair competition, intellectual property, and business issues. Her intellectual property practice focuses on trade secrets, trademark, copyright, patent, and employee noncompetition litigation. Her commercial litigation experience covers a broad range of issues, including insurance claims, products and professional liability, franchise disputes, defamation, class actions, and antitrust. She has served as lead trial or co-counsel in courts and alternative dispute resolution forums throughout the country. Gina has led and participated in numerous preliminary injunction hearings involving trademark infringement, theft of trade secrets, and breach of noncompete agreements in industries as varied as industrial products manufacturing, game controller designs, and mortgage services. She also represents clients before governmental agencies such as the Federal Trade Commission and state Attorneys General. When not in litigation, Gina draws upon her broad base of experience in commercial disputes to help clients build, maintain, and enforce their intellectual property portfolios, including selecting the appropriate form of protection, creating and maintaining IP portfolios, and protecting brands against infringement by third parties. She will also bring her trial and counseling skills to BakerHostetler's Privacy and Data Protection team.

Clients appreciate Gina's insights and her ability to craft practical solutions to complex and often ambiguous issues. Gina has been recognized for her leadership, courtroom and advocacy skills, and she has served in a number of leadership positions in bar and industry associations throughout her career, reflecting her commitment to integrity and professionalism.
