Sarir Silver is a partner in the Labor & Employment Practice Group and focuses her practice on counseling her clients in all areas of employment law and representing them in single plaintiff, collective action and class action litigations. She has extensive experience litigating claims arising under Title VII, Title III, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the New York State Human Rights Law (NYSHR) and the New York City Human Rights Law (NYCHL). She has also litigated cases concerning breach of various restrictive covenants such as violations of non-compete agreements and theft of trade secrets.

Sarir's practice extends to New Jersey as well, where she has experience with employment-related claims arising under the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination(NJLAD) and the Conscientious Employee Protection Act (CEPA). A large part of her practice includes counseling employers on complying with equal employment opportunity laws and taking precautionary measures to deter litigation. To that end, Sarir frequently counsels employers on employment-related decisions, employment policies and handbooks, equal employment opportunity training seminars, harassment investigations and employment contracts. Sarir's clients span a broad spectrum of industries including hospitality, media, construction, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, higher education and non-profit.
