Shoshana Thoma-Isgur is a Principal Consultant at ACA Compliance Group. At ACA, Shoshana works with investment advisers to promote their compliance with SEC regulatory requirements. She assists clients on mock SEC examinations and compliance program reviews, provides support during exams, and assists with drafting and reviews of policies, procedures, and compliance manuals. Prior to joining ACA, Shoshana was a partner at two international law firms, where she helped clients navigate investment management issues, including private fund formation and investment adviser and securities regulatory, compliance, and enforcement matters at the federal and state level. She also assisted health care clients with investment and other transactions subject to health care fraud-and-abuse laws, and with HIPAA rules and regulations. She also drew on her experience to counsel clients on general business matters. Prior to that, Shoshana spent almost eight years as an SEC Enforcement Attorney conducting securities law investigations. She was a member of the SEC's Asset Management Unit. Shoshana started her career at a regional law firm before joining the SEC staff in Fort Worth.
