Tammy, a partner in the firm’s Business Litigation group, focuses on shareholder litigation and securities enforcement, government and internal investigations, accountants’ liability and bankruptcy litigation. She has handled several high-profile Madoff-related matters, including representing a registered investment adviser in connection with the Picard v. Katz clawback action.

Tammy previously served as Senior Legal Advisor to the Chief Accountant at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where she consulted on policy issues affecting the audit and accounting professions and participated in rulemaking, enforcement proceedings, congressional testimony, and various other activities, including working with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board.

Following law school, Tammy clerked for the Honorable Allyne R. Ross of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York and for the Honorable Arthur Alarcon of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
