Tom has extensive experience working with clients to protect their intellectual property, including prosecuting patent applications for clients in a variety of industries throughout the country. As a former patent counsel for The Procter & Gamble Company, Tom is adept at balancing legal and business objectives when protecting intellectual property, and he draws on his in-house experience to provide clients with a unique insight into their protection strategies. His experience is wide-ranging, including working with clients to draft and prosecute patent and trademark applications, preparing validity opinions, handling clearance infringement analyses, managing intellectual property portfolios and drafting licensing agreements. He also has worked with clients to handle privacy policies and confidentiality agreements, as well as providing support in corporate transactions to ensure his client’s business is protected.
