Thomas P. Feddo

Tom Feddo has extensive experience in the areas of U.S. economic sanctions, congressional investigations and a variety of national security matters. He counsels clients in various industries, including financial services, manufacturing, energy, technology, pharmaceutical and consumer goods.

Prior to joining the firm, Tom served as the assistant director for enforcement at the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). In this senior management role, Tom was responsible for implementing OFAC’s Enforcement Guidelines and leading the investigation and resolution of hundreds of matters, including the largest civil monetary settlement of its kind involving civil and criminal investigations by multiple federal agencies. In his seven years with OFAC, Tom gained invaluable insights into the complexities and nuances of the various sanctions programs and applies that understanding to creatively and effectively solve problems and assess risks for clients.

Tom previously served as special assistant to the general counsel of the U.S. Navy, majority counsel to the U.S. House Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee of the Energy and Commerce Committee, and as a senior advisor to the Republican National Committee. His military service included assignments as a lieutenant on the USS Salt Lake City, a nuclear-powered “fast-attack” submarine, and with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) Antiterrorist Alert Center. After law school, Tom was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable James T. Turner of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
