Thomas Liu is a partner in the firm’s Employment practice and is located in the Los Angeles office. Mr. Liu has focused on labor and employment law for more than 20 years. He advises non-U.S. and U.S. companies on all aspects of labor and employment litigation and counseling including wrongful termination, employment discrimination and harassment claims, drafting of employment contracts, employee handbooks, consulting agreements, severance agreements and disciplinary policies.

Mr. Liu works with clients in the transportation industry including several global airlines, shipping lines, freight forwarders and travel agencies; the hospitality industry including hotels and restaurants; the food industry; the multilevel marketing industry; manufacturing companies; and employment agencies.

He has led numerous management training and sexual harassment training classes for many companies and is frequently asked to speak on labor and employment matters.

Mr. Liu represents clients in federal and state courts in wrongful termination, employment discrimination and harassment claims. He also practices before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, Federal and California Labor Departments, California Employment Development Department and various arbitration tribunals.
