A member of the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates, Bill Compton has spent a career persuading judges and juries to find for his clients. His experience includes trying over twenty civil jury trials to verdict. Bill’s practice focuses on lender liability in financial transactions including cybersecurity, fraudulent wire transfers and indorsements, and grand jury investigations. He is the past president of the Texas Association of Bank Counsel.

Before joining Stanton Law Firm PC, Bill practiced in the trial sections at Andrews Kurth LLP and Arter & Hadden LLP.

Bill attends the Church of the Incarnation. He is actively involved with the Dallas chapters of the Council of Foreign Relations and World Affairs Council.
