Aaron Binstock is an associate in the Venture Capital and Mergers and Acquisitions practice groups and a member of Cooley's Business department. Mr. Binstock joined the Firm in 2011 and is resident in the Washington, DC office.

Mr. Binstock has been actively involved in representing both public and private company clients in merger and acquisition transactions ranging in size from less than $1 million to over $7 billion. He has served clients in both buy-side and sell-side transactions within a variety of industries, including information technology, government contracting, software and telecommunications. Mr. Binstock also focuses on venture capital and private equity investments and the general corporate representation of technology and emerging growth companies.

Prior to joining Cooley, Mr. Binstock worked as an associate in the Mergers and Acquisitions practice group at Holland & Knight LLP in the Tysons Corner, VA office.

Mr. Binstock received a JD, with honors, from The George Washington University Law School in 2007. In 2004, Mr. Binstock graduated cum laude from The George Washington University School of Business with a BBA.
