Amy Vieta's practice focuses on a wide range of transactional work relating primarily to mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and intellectual property and technology matters. She represents private companies in a range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, biotech, and technology services. In addition, Amy counsels clients on sweepstakes, contests, and internet promotions, including drafting rules governing the promotions and structuring them to comply with applicable lottery and gambling laws.

Amy's representative M&A transactions include representation of Hachette Filipacchi in its acquisition of Jumpstart Automotive Media and Dennis Publishing in its sale to Quadrangle Capital. Her recent intellectual property transactions include various collaborations and licenses between pharmaceutical and biotech companies, including advising Celgene Corporation in its exclusive option to license oncology products from GlobeImmune and its collaboration with Acceleron Pharma.

Amy is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the State Bar of Georgia (Intellectual Property and Technology Sections).
