Andrew Bluth is a counsel in law firm's Litigation practice and a member of the Media & Entertainment industry team. He practices general commercial litigation, and has broad experience in a variety of fields, including complex commercial disputes representing financial institutions, technology companies, utilities, contractors, developers, health care companies, and small businesses. Mr. Bluth's experience includes sophisticated contract disputes, securities litigation, construction defect litigation, unfair/unlawful business practices, labor and employment disputes, public contracting, and complex writ practice. Mr. Bluth also has experience with environmental litigation including claims brought under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

Mr. Bluth has represented numerous clients in defense of nationwide class actions under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), which governs telemarketing calls and text messages made to numbers listed on the “Do Not Call” registry. Mr. Bluth’s TCPA experience also includes representing clients before the Federal Communications Commission. Mr. Bluth has been quoted in national publications regarding the TCPA and has published articles on TCPA litigation and regulatory developments.

Mr. Bluth has also successfully litigated under California's Anti-SLAPP statute and has experience with California's Public Records Act and the Freedom of Information Act. Prior to entering the field of law, Mr. Bluth was a journalist for the New York Times and Orange County Register newspapers. Mr. Bluth also formerly served as an extern for the Honorable Garland E. Burrell of the U. S. District Court for the Eastern District of California.
