Mr. Schmutz is of counsel in the firm's Philadelphia office. He focuses his practice on complex public and private financing transactions, usually involving tax-exempt dept obligations. He is experienced in numerous areas of municipal and structured finance, including multifamily housing, airport, water and sewer, university, health care, 501(c)(3), transporation, industrial development and asset securitization. His experience also includes the development and use of financial products including total rate of return swaps, credit derivatives and other financial products.
