Ann Brigid Clark

Ann B. Clark focuses her practice on transactional entertainment, media and intellectual property matters, including the representation of independent motion picture and scripted and unscripted television production companies, digital media companies, fashion companies, independent producers, showrunners, writers, directors, artists, musicians and on-screen talent in connection with all aspects of development, production, distribution, promotion and exploitation of motion picture, television, new media, print and music projects.

Ann counsels clients on union and guild matters, licensing, and intellectual property rights and clearance issues. She also counsels sports and entertainment clients with respect to Internet, new media and other promotional and marketing activities. In addition, Ann structures and negotiates motion picture finance agreements, the option acquisition of rights, first look agreements, merchandising, music licensing and book publishing agreements. She also has experience as production counsel for motion pictures and television, having drafted and negotiated hundreds of agreements on behalf of production entities with above and below-the-line talent, bond companies and banks.
