Ann Chen is Special Counsel in the Firm’s General Practice Group. Her practice focuses on advising public and private companies, investment banks and private equity funds on a variety of transactional matters primarily in the areas of M&A, capital markets and private equity, as well as with respect to securities law and general corporate law.

Recent examples of her work include Amgen’s acquisition of Micromet through a tender offer and back-end merger, the recapitalization of a community bank holding company, a split-off of an asset manager, an acquisition out of bankruptcy of the Simmons mattress company by owners of the Serta mattress company and various capital market transactions.
