Ann Byrd focuses her practice in the areas of commercial litigation, healthcare, mass tort and product liability, with a particular emphasis on pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, healthcare fraud and compliance, and industry white collar representation.
Ann has experience in all aspects of state and federal litigation, as well as international arbitration. She not only litigates individual matters, but also works as a part of larger teams, including supervising and coordinating counsel in multidistrict litigation and mass torts. Her international experience includes representation of corporate clients in international arbitrations administered by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), as well as the general procedures under, and enforcement of, various Hague Conventions.
Ann has represented corporate and CJA clients through appeal and oral argument in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and in the Georgia Supreme Court and Georgia Court of Appeals.
