Aviva Stein is a civil litigator whose practice consists of general liability defense work with a strong emphasis on construction cases, labor law matters and insurance coverage litigation. She handles high-exposure Labor Law and general liability matters pending in state and federal courts as well as in the appellate courts. Aviva’s practice also includes coverage analysis and defense litigation for large domestic and international primary and excess insurers.

Aviva has defended many well-known real estate investment trusts, commercial real estate conglomerates, hospitals and medical facilities, nursing and other community living homes, sports franchises, global investment firms, as well as national construction entities in their capacities as owners and contractors in connection with complex Labor Law and premises claims brought against them. Aviva has experience arguing multifaceted Labor Law matters before the New York Supreme Court and the Appellate Divisions of the First and Second Departments, and has achieved many favorable decisions for Wilson Elser clients.
