Beaury Talley

has been a member of the firm’s Discovery Center since 2003. He has extensive experience in pre-trial discovery in complex litigation, including the representation of manufacturers of pharmaceutical and automotive products. Mr. Talley leads document productions and reviews and the preparation of privilege logs for the firm’s clients.

Representative Experience

Supervised a team of attorneys and support staff in the preparation of a privilege log of over 10,000 documents for a leading medical devices production corporation in response to SEC subpoenas.

Coordinated the collection of media documents with client, and identified document review populations through document search and review.

Trained and supervised document review teams in pharmaceutical litigation and supervised their review activities to assure compliance with concurrent production deadlines in multiple proceedings throughout the country.

Supervised a team of attorneys in the preparation of a privilege log for a Fortune 200 client defending litigation concerning allegations of chemical exposure.

Assisted a Fortune 200 company involved in litigation defend challenges to privilege assertions made on numerous documents, including the preparation of affidavits for client witnesses and documents for in-camera review by the court.

Assisted a large automotive manufacturer in defending challenges to privilege assertions made on documents during multiple personal injury proceedings, including preparation affidavits and other evidentiary support for each document.

Assisted with coordinating a team of attorneys in a document review for a large pharmaceutical company in response to subpoenas for the Department of Justice.

Assisted with an intellectual property document review for a client involved in patent infringement litigation. The project consisted of reviewing documents for responsiveness, privilege, confidentiality, and significance.

Litigation Technology Experience

As part of his experience managing and supervising document review projects, Mr. Talley has utilized litigation support systems including Ringtail, CaseCentral, Summation, File Control, and Concordance.
