Beth A. Stekler is a partner in the firm's Securities Department, and a member of the Broker-Dealer Compliance and Regulation Practice Group. She joined the firm in 1998. Ms. Stekler advises and represents broker-dealers, investment advisers and other participants in the financial markets regarding compliance with the federal securities laws and other legal and regulatory requirements.

Practice

Prior to joining the firm in June 1998, Ms. Stekler served for two and a half years as an attorney in the Division of Market Regulation of the Securities and Exchange Commission. This division is responsible for regulating the nation's securities markets. Ms. Stekler also spent three years as an associate at another major law firm where she represented investment companies in all aspects of their operations.
