Brad Brasser practices in the areas of capital markets and mergers and acquisitions. He has represented issuers and underwriters in public and private securities offerings in a variety of business sectors, including the biotech, building products, energy, and oil and gas industries. Brad also focuses on financings for nonprofit health care entities, and has worked as issuer's and borrower's counsel in both tax-exempt and taxable health care transactions. He also has worked on M&A transactions involving public mergers and private acquisitions.

Brad has represented issuers and security holders in connection with debt and equity recapitalizations as well, including exchange offers, cash tender offers, leveraged buyouts, and in-court and out-of-court restructurings. In addition to his transactional work, he has served as outside securities counsel to a number of public companies, advising clients on a range of corporate governance, disclosure, and compliance matters.

Brad has recently worked closely with Bombardier, Bon Secours Health System, Cumulus Media, Diversey, Georgia Gulf Corporation, GSI Group, Harry & David, Husky Energy, Macquarie Capital, Metaldyne, Morgan Keegan, Procter & Gamble, Sprint Nextel, USG Corporation, Verint Systems, and Xcel Energy.

He is a member of the ABA (Business Law Section), the Illinois State Bar Association, and The Chicago Bar Association. In February 2012, Brad was appointed to a three-year term on the Securities Advisory Committee of the Ontario Securities Commission.
