Brian A. Sun

Brian Sun has earned a national reputation as a distinguished trial lawyer in complex business litigation and white-collar criminal defense. He has successfully litigated cases against some of the nation's top trial lawyers. His cases have included representing Dr. Wen Ho Lee in his successful civil suit against the U.S. government, former Clinton fundraiser Johnny Chung, and former Orange County Sheriff Michael Carona. Brian is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and was named in 2005 by Lawdragon Magazine as one of America's 500 leading lawyers.

Brian's litigation practice covers a wide range of areas, including matters involving unfair competition, intellectual property disputes, entertainment, shareholder rights, contractual disputes, and fraud. His clients include Global Fortune 300 institutions and individuals embroiled in high-stakes litigation. Over the years, he has represented such companies as Hon Hai Precision Co., Ltd. (Foxconn), Mattel, Inc, Emerson Electric Co., the City of Los Angeles, and a number of notable individuals, including Dr. Wen Ho Lee in his successful civil suit against the U.S. Government.

Brian is a former chair of the Litigation Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He has been recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal as being among the "Best of the Bar in Los Angeles." Brian is a former president of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) and the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank. In 2013, Brian was honored by NAPABA with its Trailblazer Award and by the Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association with its Lifetime Achievement Award.
