Cary S. Kvitka

Cary Kvitka is a Shareholder and member of Stark & Stark’s Securities Practice Group, where he focuses upon counseling financial service entities including investment advisers, broker-dealers, public and private investment companies (e.g., mutual funds, hedge funds, etc.), insurance brokers/agents, CPA firms and their employees, about registration, compliance, liability, and litigation issues.

Mr. Kvitka’s securities practice builds upon his experience as a corporate transactional attorney, in which he represented companies regarding entity formation, franchise and nonprofit registration, compliance, and acquisitions. In that capacity, he gained significant experience negotiating and/or drafting various agreements and disclosure documents including: commercial leases, franchise agreements, franchise disclosure documents, asset and stock purchase agreements; shareholder agreements, bylaws, manufacturing contracts, software engineering/OEM agreements, employment/consulting agreements, and various other technical documents.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kvitka served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Sheldon R. Franklin in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division.

Mr. Kvitka is a former Board and Executive Committee Member of multiple local social service agencies.
