Chris Pratt has practiced primarily in the area of employee benefits and executive compensation since joining Baker Botts in 2002. He has significant experience in the employee and executive compensation area, including design, structure and implementation of incentive plans and non-qualified compensation plans, as well as executive employment, severance and consulting agreements and compliance with Section 409A deferred compensation rules. He also has experience in the design and implementation of employee benefit plans, including tax-qualification issues and reporting and disclosure requirements.
Mr. Pratt’s work with qualified plans includes structuring defined contribution and defined benefit plans, implementing design changes and optional and compliance amendments to qualified plans and providing legal counsel with respect to compliance and fiduciary issues.
