Christopher

focuses his practice on leveraged acquisitions, recapitalizations, divestitures, growth equity investments, take private acquisitions and other complex buyout and special situations transactions. He has been responsible for leading a wide variety of these transactions, ranging in size from a few million dollars to several billion dollars, for a number of private equity clients, including Oaktree Capital Management, GTCR, CHS Capital, MTS Health Partners and Nautic Partners.

In February 2008, Christopher was one of 10 lawyers in the United States selected and profiled as a "Future Star of America" by The Times, a UK-based legal publication, after being nominated for the honor by Kirkland & Ellis' Firm Management Committee. In addition, in 2012, he was recognized as a "leading lawyer" by Leading Lawyers Network for Mergers & Acquisitions Law, Corporate Finance Law and Securities & Venture Finance Law.

Christopher serves on the Firm's Pro Bono Management Committee, Billing and Collections Committee and Associate Review Committee.
