Chris focuses his practice on federal income tax issues associated with real estate capital markets transactions and real estate companies. In particular, Chris focuses on real estate investment trusts (REITs), partnerships (including publicly traded partnerships (PTPs)) and joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, financings, and real estate mortgage investment conduits (REMICs).

Prior to attending law school, Chris was a certified public accountant and practiced at Big Four accounting firms for three years.
