David K. Robbins is a partner in the firm’s Corporate Practice Group. He joined the firm in 2005 after having been a partner in the Los Angeles office of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP.

David has worked on a variety of complex corporate transactions, including tender offers, proxy contests, acquisitions and divestitures, public offerings, private and public equity investments, and the establishment of private investment funds. He counsels clients in the areas of M&A, corporate governance, public disclosure and reporting, private equity, and general corporate matters.

Notably, he represented Roy E. Disney and Stanley P. Gold in their unprecedented “Vote No” campaign against four directors of The Walt Disney Company, including then-CEO Michael Eisner.
